Tuition, Financial Aid, and Paying for Classes

At YC, we believe a college degree should help you earn more and provide for your loved ones - not hinder you with more debt. Although we offer one of the greatest values in higher education at only $70 per credit hour*, we understand it can still sometimes be a challenge to cover tuition costs. That's why we have prepared information on the costs to attend YC, including housing and meal plans if living on campus; applying for financial aid; finding jobs on- or off-campus; and applying for scholarships.

Support - Advising, Counseling, and Career Services

We want our students to succeed - both in class and in their careers. That's why we provide services for prospective, current, and former students (alumni). Prospective students with questions about a degree or certificate program are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor, who can explain the pathway to a degree and transfer options once coursework is completed. Career Services staff can help you to understand how a degree will impact your job search, what types of activities you might expect to perform, and can provide you valuable guidance and support in beginning your job search.

Transfer

Yavapai College has negotiated articulation agreements with many local, state, and some national higher education institutions. Articulation agreements mean that all coursework completed on an approved degree will transfer in full to a partner institution. This allows you to save a significant amount of money (and often time) while still earning a four year degree through an articulation partner, including Arizona State University (ASU), Embry Riddle, NorthCentral University, Northern Arizona University (NAU), Old Dominion University (ODU), Prescott College, and the University of Arizona.
