Residence Hall Orientation
Check-In Friday, August 22, 2008 : 11:00am - 3:00pm
Check-In will begin at 11:00am in the hall lobby where you are assigned. At this time you will receive your Orientation packet and schedule of events.
Please arrive early as we have a full day ahead of us and the earlier you show up the sooner you can begin your check-in process.
Below are the things you will need to take care of prior to 3:00pm
- Stop by the mail center and pick up your mailbox key and address,
- Visit the book store and pick up your text, supplies and YC gift items,
- See the One Card desk in Building One to have your picture ID taken; this is your meal card and door access into your building,
- If you have financial aid or loan monies coming to you stop by and make sure they know where to find you so your check can be dispersed on time.

Welcome Dinner : Friday 5pm / Kachina Lawn
5:00pm on the lawn outside Kachina Hall. Join us for Dagwood Delights (build your own sandwich).
Student Orientation : Friday 6:30pm / In Your Hall
Students will be attending orientation in their wing with the Resident Assistant and Hall Director.
Parents Sessions : Friday 3-5pm
- 3:00-4:00 pm Kachina Lobby: FERPA - What is that and how does it pertain to my student?
- 4:00-5:00 pm Kachina Lobby: SEX, DRUGS and ROCK AND ROLL!!! Helpful hints to understanding the pressures your student will face while exploring the collegiate environment.
