Summer Bridge Grant
High School Summer "Bridge" Grants are available for Summer Classes
Who qualifies?
Yavapai County high school students who will be ending their junior or senior years and recent GED recipients (within the last six months) are eligible to receive a High School Summer Bridge Grant (HSFND).
Up to 3 credit hours will be covered for any course offered during the summer.
Students may choose to enroll in more than 3 credit hours; however, they will be responsible to pay any remaining balance due after the HSFND has been applied. In addition, HSFND does not cover the cost of lab fees or books. Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
For continued eligibility, student must maintain a "C" or 2.0 GPA.
How do you apply?
- The student must meet with an academic advisor to select a course and complete the Summer Bridge Grant Application.
- An academic advisor (or Registration staff member at outlying campuses) approves and signs the application. Credits to be covered, not to exceed 3 credits or $147 for one class.
- The student registers.
- The student must immediately take the completed application to the Business Office or Cashier for payment to receive their class schedule. Any remaining balance above 3 credit hours or $147 shall be paid by the student at this time.
- The Summer Bridge Grant will not be approved if you have not confirmed your citizenship by the close of business, and you will be dropped from the class.
