The mission of the Financial Aid Office is to provide financial guidance and assistance to students in their pursuit of a higher education.

Important Financial Aid Dates

• November 26-28, 2008 - Offices closed for Thanksgiving Holiday.
• December 19, 2008 - First Snapshot date for Spring 2009 semester.
• December 25 - January 1 - Holiday Break. Offices closed!
• January 1, 2009 - 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
• January 1, 2009 - 2009-10 YC Scholarship applications accepted.
• January 19, 2009 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Offices closed.
• January 20, 2009 - First disbursement for Spring 2009 semester for those students whose file is complete.
• January 21, 2009 - First day of Spring 2009 semester.
• January 27, 2009 - Second Snapshot date for Spring 2009.
• Financial Aid checks are disbursed every Wednesday during the semester.
