This sometimes happens. If it does, try logging into the Tegrity system at http://europa.yc.edu. Then click the course name to access the recording sessions.
No. You can also access Tegrity sessions by logging into the Tegrity system at http://europa.yc.edu. Then click the course name to access the recording sessions.
If the sessions open but you don't see any video (black screens with sound), you should check to see that you have the latest version of Windows Media Player (Windows) or the VLC player (Mac). If it still doesn't work, try shutting off your PC hardware acceleration:
When you click the "Tegrity" button in Blackboard, a page pop open that shows the list of sessions one can watch - that's called the Tegrity viewer page.
Yes. Any session recorded Spring 08 or later is playable on a Mac with OS 10.4.11 or later. Sessions recorded before Spring 08 won’t play on a Mac - BUT, you can download the enhanced podcast of any session into iTunes. Click on the "iPod" button at the bottom of the Tegrity Viewer page to subscribe to the class podcast. iTunes should open and all the sessions for that course will be listed. To download them, click the "Get" button next to the individual sessions. NOTE: In iTunes you can double-click on the graphics to enlarge them; press "Esc" key to return.
Macintosh
Yes.
This works in Windows. If the recording starts to play during this process, simply close it and continue.
1. Click the download icon in the Tegrity viewer page

2. DON'T follow the instructions in the next box. DO Click Download.

3. Choose “Save” from the next box, then browse to a folder to save the file in. You can burn the saved file on to CD or copy to a flash memory stick.

4. Later... when you are ready to watch it, double-click on the saved file. Click “Continue” when you see this box:

5. Then select a folder on your computer to save the extracted files. Press OK, then OK again when you get the “All files were successfully unzipped” box.
6. Go to where you saved the extracted files, and double-click on the “Default” file to begin playing the recording.

Nothing is required for most users, though if you do, Tegrity will prompt you with the link to make it easier. You may need to download the activeX control for windows media to watch in certain browsers, or on a Mac, the VLC Player. Again, Tegrity will tell you if you clearly if something is required.
