This happens sometimes. Please let me know, and in the meantime they can try accessing your Tegrity Viewer by logging in at http://europa.yc.edu.
Yes, and thankfully it's easier than before to link Tegrity sessions anywhere.
Email the session link to your students
Follow steps 1-4 above, then paste the link into an email message.
All recordings made after January 2008 are viewable on Macs running OS 10.5 or later (although it has worked with 10.4). AND Instructors may now make recordings on a Mac. Recordings made earlier are only viewable on Windows, though the podcast versions are available for both platforms. Contact Thatcher Bohrman, 776-2352, thatcher@yc.edu for details.
Yes. In the Tegrity viewer page, select the session(s) you want to copy by checking the box to the far left of the session, then select "Copy" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page. In the dialogue box that opens, click on the "Search" button to show a list of your Blackboard courses. Select the course you want to copy to and click "OK".
Use the new "Enhanced Recording Mode" if you want the video camera to appear at all times: select "Settings" from the recording set up window, and check the box next to "Enhanced Recording Mode". Be aware that this mode may crash your computer if it doesn't have enough processing power!
If you aren't using the new "Enhanced Recording Mode", the video camera doesn’t always record. Tegrity records your camera video only under these 3 conditions:

Seeing this “monitor” icon (see below) indicates you ARE recording with the video camera.

YES, it does EXCEPT in Vista 64-bit version. You will have to disable Vistas UAC security settings before installings. Follow the directions below.
Resolution:
Using the ampersand (&) in the name of a session will cause problems, so just don't.
If the "More Actions" drop-down menu at the bottom of the Tegrity viewer page is not there, maximize the window. You should then be able to see the content at the bottom of that window.
Help students by adding the link to Tegrity FAQs right into every session! To do this, simply click the "Settings" button in the Tegrity viewer, then add this link in the "Links" area: http://www2.yc.edu/content/tels/resforstudents/TegrityStudentFAQ.htm and call it: "Tegrity FAQs"

When you use "Course Copy" to copy course content from one semester to another, selecting "Settings" will copy the Tegrity button into your chosen course. HOWEVER! You must then REMOVE THE TEGRITY BUTTON by choosing "Manage Course Menu" from the Control Panel in the course you copied TO, and Removing the Tegrity button. THEN open the Tegrity viewer page in the course you want to copy from, and copy sessions from that course to the other(s) using the options in the Tegrity viewer page: select the session(s) you want to copy by checking the box to the far left of the session, then select "Copy" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page. In the dialogue box that opens, click on the "Search" button to show a list of your Blackboard courses. Select the course you want to copy to and click "OK". LAST STEP: Create a new Tegrity recording session "test" and upload it to your new course.
