Student Off-Campus Jobs

Find a variety of off-campus jobs on our web-based Job Finder system any time of day or night. If you have not previously used Job Finder, contact the Student Employment Office (Prescott Campus) or the Student Services Office (Verde Valley Campus) to request access. Use the Student Guide to Job Finder for instructions.

How to Apply for Off-Campus Jobs

Contact information and application instructions are listed with the job. Students are responsible for contacting the employer and making interview arrangements.

All hiring and compensation for work performed are handled directly between applicants and non-Yavapai College employers who use the Yavapai College Student Employment services.

Using Caution and Common Sense during a Job Search

Use caution and common sense when applying for or accepting any position with any organization or private party.

For example, if a job is at a residence, in most cases it would be best to have the interview at a public place, rather than at the residence. Check to see if you will be covered by insurance if you are injured on the job. Do not put yourself in a vulnerable or unsafe situation.

Federal Work Study (FWS) Students Off-Campus

Each year, several students who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) through our Financial Aid Office obtain paid off-campus community service jobs. If you receive FWS and are interested in off-campus jobs, contact us by calling (928) 776-2100.
