Student ID FAQ

Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the Yavapai College ID card.

Where can I use my ID to get discounts?

Your student ID qualifies you for discounts at movie theaters, restaurants such as Quizno's and Fazoli's, art supply and craft stores, many performances at the Yavapai College Performance Hall and free swimming during the semester at the Yavapai College pool. Be sure to ask vendors if they provide a discount to students. You never know!

What is Flexicash and where can I use it?

Flexicash is cash you deposit with Yavapai College to make your ID card function as a debit card. It's a convenient and secure way to pay for items at the Bookstore, Food Court and Common Grounds Cafe. A 5% discount applies to all purchases at the Food Court and Common Grounds Cafe when you use Flexicash.

Where do I deposit funds to use Flexicash?

Deposit funds with the cashier located in Building 1.

Can I use Flexicash to pay for classes at Yavapai College?

Not at this time.

How can I check my Flexicash balance? Can I check online?

Your Flexicash balance will print on your receipt whenever you use Flexicash to pay for something. Online balance checking is not currently available. The OneCard Manager in Building 1 can also let you know your balance at any time.

Can my parents deposit funds to my Flexicash account?

Yes, they can deposit funds to your account in person using cash, check or credit cards or over the phone using credit cards.

Remember to keep your ID up-to-date with a current semester sticker in order to receive your discounts!
