International Student Admission Requirements
International students must satisfy the requirements of the United States Bureau of Citizenship & Immigration Services (BCIS) in addition to those of Yavapai College.
Applications will not be considered until all of the following documents are completed and returned. (See deadlines below.)
Required document List for International Students
- The International Student Admission Application. The application and the financial guarantee statement must be signed.
- Certified copies of official transcripts from each secondary school, college, and university. If you would like Yavapai College to determine possible transfer credits from international postsecondary colleges or universities you have attended, please contact a foreign credentials evaluation agency.
- Evidence of English Language proficiency as indicated by acceptable score on the Test of English As A Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- Proof of Health Insurance. All international students are required to maintain health insurance. The appropriate insurance is provided through the College for a reasonable fee, which is due at the time of registration each semester.
All records must be accompanied by a certified English translation if the original copy is in another language. Records must indicate courses completed, grade or marks obtained, and certificate or degree awarded.
