SANS

The Systems Administration & Network Services (SANS) department supports the following campus services:

Blackboard

Blackboard provides access to web based classes offered at Yavapai College.

If you are a student in need of support with Blackboard related issues, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (928) 776-2168.

Out of area students can contact the ITS Help Desk toll free at
(866) 928-9224.

Data Storage and Recovery

Student, Faculty, and Staff data are maintained with leading edge technology. SANS can often restore most inadvertently deleted data from your college network drives (ex. Z drive) within a short time period.

If you need some data restored from your network share please submit a request form from the link below.

Email Services

SANS maintains and supports two email platforms. For more information, please visit our email services page.

Faculty/Staff Email

Full time faculty and staff members utilize the Lotus Notes client and can access Lotus iNotes for remote retrieval of email.

For additional information on accessing your yc.edu email account, please visit the Lotus Notes information page.

Adjunct Faculty Email

Adjunct faculty have access to their email accounts using the Outlook Web Access (OWA) system.

For additional information on accessing your instructor.yc.edu email account, please visit the OWA information page.

VPN Access

Virtual Private Network (VPN) access is available to authorized faculty and staff members.

Please contact the ITS Help Desk at ext. 2168 if you need VPN access or would like more information.
