2007-2008 Training Requirements

A little information can go a long way toward preventing harassment on our campuses. The on-line (New Media Learning) Preventing Sexual Harassment focuses on the challenges and responsibilities you face as a college employee and provides guidelines and prevention strategies you can use to protect yourself, your students, your colleagues and the College.

Training Requirement period May 2007 (new program launch) through June 2008

  • Current Regular Full-time Staff & Faculty: complete “Refresher” ( apx. 35 min)
  • New Regular Full-Time Staff & Faculty: complete “First time User” (apx. 90 min) within 30 days of hire
  • Supervisors are strongly encouraged to offer this training to both current and new regular part-time staff and adjunct faculty

Print the certificate at the end of the program and send to the Human Resources office. Completion of the training satisfies the annual training requirement that should be listed in the Professional Development section of your annual Performance Management Plan.
