High School Jump Start Scholarships
Are you a High School Junior or Senior?
Yavapai County junior or senior high school students are eligible to receive a Jump Start Scholarship during the Fall & Spring semesters.
Tuition for one class and up to $20 in lab fees will be covered. Books will be the student's responsibility. No more than a 5 credit class.
Students may choose to enroll in more than one class; however, they will be responsible to pay any remaining balance due after the Jump Start Scholarship has been applied.
Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis. For continued eligibility, students must maintain a "C" or 2.0 GPA.
How to Apply
- Student must meet with an academic advisor to select a course(s) and complete the JumpStart Application.
- An academic advisor (or Registration staff member at outlying campuses) must approve and sign the application.
- Register for your class.
- Immediately take the completed application to the Business Office or Cashier to receive your class schedule. Any remaining balance above the cost of a class and up to $20 in lab fees must be paid by the student at this time.
- The Jump Start will not be approved if you have not confirmed your citizenship by the close of business, and you will be dropped from the class.
