This year’s gathering takes place at the Yavapai College Performance Hall and the YC campus. It offers a fascinating blend of traditional and contemporary cowboy poems, songs and stories about life on the Arizona range. Featured entertainers include the Desert Sons from Tucson; Gary & Jean Prescott, award-winning singers and song-writers from Ovalo, Texas; plus Suzi Killman, Rolf Flake, Joel Nelson, Bimbo Cheney, and Mike Prince. The gathering also includes dozens of great poets and musicians in free sessions throughout the Yavapai College campus on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
