How to Apply

Entry into the College Honors Program is competitive. Admission is based on scholastic achievement and on demonstrated ability to think critically and independently.

Due date for completion of all steps listed below is March 1, 2008.

1. Complete the Yavapai College Scholarship application form for 2008-2009 (online at www.yc.edu/ess or in paper using the pdf form). New freshmen must also complete the Application for Admission (again online at www.yc.edu/ess or in paper using the pdf form).
2. Write a letter of interest as outlined in the application materials.
3. Write a critical essay on the topic described in the application materials.
4. Obtain two letters of recommendation, one of which is from an academic source.
5. Obtain official copies of your transcripts.
6. Submit the completed packet to:
