Who We Are

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - Sedona (OLLI) is a self-directed membership organization within Yavapai College. It was created to meet the needs and interests of retirement-age people. The Institute recognizes the unique experiences and capabilities of its members by emphasizing and encouraging peer learning, member participation, collaborative leadership and social interaction. Lively discussion, plus experiential opportunities in personal growth, cultural and environmental explorations provide members a rich, continuing educational experience.

You'll find an electronic copy of the catalog to download here.

Welcome to Dena Greenwood, the new Sedona OLLI Coordinator. Dena Greenwood, a resident of Rimrock, has a master’s degree in environmental science from NAU and a bachelor’s degree in outdoor education/recreation from ASU. She’s been an adjunct instructor at Yavapai College since 1995 and has coordinated and taught Elderhostel programs for 12 years. Since 1996 Dena has spent summers as a field biologist with various federal and state agencies.
