Program Awards
The RBT program is unique when compared to most other educational programs – we offer classroom instruction in the building sciences and each year, students build (hands-on) a house that meets or exceeds nationally established high-performance guidelines for green building and resource efficiency.
Three recently constructed houses in the RBT program have earned 5 national awards and the reputation as being "one of the nation's elite energy-efficient home builders".
In addition, in 2008 the RBT Program's curriculum was awarded the Excellence in Green Building Curriculum Recognition Award by the U.S. Green Building Council...see the press release link below!
